Handsomest Man in the Room

by Kristi Rose

Verse 1
Bobby’s always had a brilliant mind,
A Ph.D. in physics earned with pride.
But kindness is the gift that shines the most,
A gentle heart that never needs to boast.
He seldom lets his temper have its way,
And brings a little laughter every day.
At three a.m. when most are fast asleep,
He drives Kristi where she needs to be.

[chorus]

He stands beside Kristi as she follows her dreams,
Doctor Kristi giving care to those in need.
He cheers her on and helps her goals come true,
And makes her laugh; never makes her blue.
He’s the handsomest man in the room,
That’s what Kristi says, and she knows it’s true.
With a gentle heart and a helping hand,
He quietly gives all the love he can.
On any dark day, Kristi still swoons,
'Cause he’s the handsomest man in the room.
He’s the handsomest man in the room.

[Instrumental Solo]

Verse 2
He loves his son and daughter faithfully,
And makes the time
to share their hopes and dreams.
He’s there to cheer whatever they may do,
A father they can always turn unto.
He's slow to criticize and put folks down,
He gives them space whenever he’s around.
He does the dishes, and works in the yard,
And remodeling never seems too hard.

[Chorus)
With skillful hands and insights so fine,
He shapes their home with thoughtful designs.
And when Kristi’s band is playing for the crowd,
He runs the sound board.
Blends music, soft or loud.

He’s the handsomest man in the room,
That’s what Kristi thinks, and she knows it’s true.
With a gentle heart and a helping hand,
Bobby quietly gives all the love he can.
On even a hard day, Kristi still swoons,
'Cause he’s the handsomest man in the room.
'Cause he’s the handsomest man in the room.
